I had a dream about that red dress that Diane Lane wore. Today…a bit passe but she still looks hot. Tonight is what it means to be younnnnggggg…..

demiandforrest:

A dog in the middle of a street, tries to awaken his dead friend, who had been hit by a car. The dog would bark and growl at anyone trying to get close , and he would not leave his friend. Some animals are more compassionate and loyal than human.
god bless that dog.

I swear I just teared up. If we could all love unconditionally as they do.

Too sad :(

A perfect day for Joshua Radin. His voice soothes the week’s mess and brings forth a let-out-a-big-sigh-of-relief-that-weekend-is-here mood.

I’m constantly surprised by how I never listen to a song properly and loved it even more when I hear the lyrics. It’s as if I’m listening the song for the first time.

Star Mile”

Oh doubt in the girl by your side
She’s feeding your pride
As you go for a ride
Down the Star Mile

Worlds arise as she lets you come in
A duo begins
To the Hollywood Inn
Of the lonely

And all the gold dust in her eyes won’t reform into rain
You had and lost the one thing
You kept in a safe place
Remember the face
Of the girl who had made you her own
And how you left her alone

All’s well at the base of the hill
You might need to fill
A prescription to kill
Off the silence.

Look down from your tower on high
And take in the night
Look her right in the eye
She’ll listen

And all the gold dust in her eyes won’t reform into rain
You had and lost the one thing
You kept in a safe place
Remember the face
Of the girl who had made you her own
And how you left her alone

Life goes to those that are true
The regular news
Over playing the blues
With the light on

And if you burn the road
That’ll lead you back to her in time
I watch you turn to stone
You can’t find the sunlight

She’s moving on without you
The tide breaks
You watch the stars fade
They gather you back to their home
I guess it’s better than being alone

A friend taught me this…”when in doubt…dance, dance, dance’

And tonight, this is what I’m dancing too. It’s murder on the dance floor.

I’ve always loved this song from Tom Petty to John Mayer. It’s especially haunting during this quiet night, rain pounding outside my window, in my bed with a glass of opened-bottle-for-a-week-but-felt-it-would-be-wasted-to-throw-it-out wine as company.

‘Wanna free fall out into nothing, oh I’m gonna leave this world for a while’

I love how in this wedding, the song lists are just as important as the wedding itself. Excellent set. I can almost imagine the dancing scene to Feist’s ‘I Feel It All’.

Amazing! I can’t stop watching it…somehow the precision in the dance moves makes me feel like the world is a bit more in order.
